Anyone used Disney's iPod setup yet?

I have the same questions as you ladies. DJ or no DJ? We are at LS and there will be no more then 44 people. My planner as said she doesn't make annoucments. Ive never heard of CM makeing annoucements, so Im left with do I or don't I. We are having Sucba Mickey and mickey and minnie. M&M, people will see, but Im not sure Scuba Mickey they will see, until hes pointed out.

I have no idea what do to. I want to save the money, but then I don't want the wedding to be tacky either.

Could you do as some suggested and have the Major Domo do the announcements? I think he's something like $600 or $800 - half what a DJ would be. Some people have had just a pianist at LS, but I'm not sure s/he would make announcements.

We're lucky in that DF and his brother are both used to dealing with puppet-show audiences, so they know how to command attention to make announcements. Do you have a guest who would be comfortable making those announcements for you? You could even make up a little cheat sheet with the times of each event so s/he knows when to announce things...

I havn't looked up how long a Major Domo would be there. If he could be there for a few hours or go and come back that would be worth it to me. I should ask my planner.

i'm sure that you're wp, or some other cast memberl, will point out when scuba mickey will appear! that's so cool that he'll be there! i'm excited for you! i'm having my dad make announcements. i'm excited that you're having scuba mickey, if, when,i get my beo i have room in the budget for him, i'm going to add it...it is the most unique thing that dftw does...nowhere else on property can you have scuba mickey...
