I am considering buying the Aquamira Water Bottle and Filter and was wondering if anyone used it before and how it is. It is $24.95 per bottle, so we're talking $50 for mine and DH water bottles, but in the long run we are saving about $90 in water. The filter is connected to the water bottle so you dont have to carry an additional piece with u through the day. Here is the website

If you have used it before please tell me if it is a good water bottle to buy for Disney.

What is your purpose for wanting one? Are you afraid the water available in the parks is not safe to drink?

I know the water is safe, DH and I just dont like the taste of regular tap or fountain water. The filter will help make it taste better cuz its filtering all that stuff out of the water that comes out of the tap.

Depending on when your trip is, it does look like next summer when it will be BOILING, I'd forgo the filtered water bottles and just buy water. When you're BROILING you really want the COLD water and not the LUKEWARM FL water, even if it does taste good. We once bought the now defunct brita water filter bottles, and due to the lack of coldness during the summer, they were practically useless.

I'm bringing a Brita bottle that I got on ebay and I plan on getting the free ice water at the CS counters and putting it in my bottle along with the tap water. I never heard of the Aquamira bottle, but I'm sure it will help make the water taste better.

We are going August 4th - 15th 2008, so yes it will be HOT. Never been to WDW in August but have in July and yeah, lets just say Im drinking at least 3 bottles of water in 1 day not including the water I drink at our meals. However, yes the water maybe lukewarm in the tap, but you can get ice from anywhere or get ice water from CS locations.

Leaving Saturday and sooo excited!!!! :cool1:

My only question is this: Is water in a cup with ice free for CS places? Also, if you order a water, will they just assume it's bottled water and charge you $1.25?? And lastly, do you have to specifically ask for a "cup of ice water" for the water to be free???
THANKS!!!!!!!!
