Anyone used Anthony Travel for Half Marathon before?

Hello - first time runner here. I am interested in the WDW Half Marathon but I see that it has already closed registration. However, on the "Charities & Groups" page I see Anthony Travel listed as a way you can still register for the 1/2.

So I went to their website and saw that if you do book at least 3 nights, you can register for the Half through them.

My question is, does anyone have any personal experience with them in this kind of situation? If I were to book through them, will I receive something "official" that let's me know for sure that I am actually registered for the race, or am I just trusting them until I show up to WDW in January?

I used them for the 2007 WDW half because I decided to do the race after it was closed. They did a great job. A couple of things to know about going through them though:

You will not be entered by Disney Sports until very close to the marathon. They enter groups at the end so you will not be able to confirm your entry on their website until about Thanksgiving.

If you are using Magical Express you have to go through Anthony Travel. I would also contact them about 3 weeks before the race. Disney sent my baggage tickets to Anthony travel instead of me so I had to get my own bags. It wasn't a problem but I had to get my reservation number from Anthony so that Disney could find me in the computer.

I would recommend getting your Disney reservation number from Anthony Travel. Anthony will give you their reservation number but it is a good idea to have the Disney one for ADRs and to verify information just before you leave.

Don't let any of this scare you though, it took a little babysitting on my part but the trip itself was just fine.
