Anyone used an old ticket?

What you bought were part of a pre-1980 Magic Kingdom ticket book. If you have the coupon that says "admit one adult to the Magic Kingdom", then you can exchange that at Guest Relations for a one day ticket at no charge. If you do not have that coupon, then the individual tickets were for rides only and are only worth about 90 cents towards purchasing a current ticket.

Mine says, "Good for one adult Admission....This coupon may be used for one admission to any "a"- "e" attraction in WDW."

One interesting thing about the WDW ticket books was the "transportation ticket". You tore it off and gave it to the monorail or ferry attendant for the northbound trip (to MK). There were two day and three day ticket books with additional transportation tickets but still a finite number of ride tickets.

(With your hand stamp you could re-enter the park, using the monorail or ferry as needed.)

Ticket books had to still have the transportation ticket(s) in order to be exchanged for a new magnetic stripe ticket good at any one park per day.

And yes they had photo-ID passes, issued in the early 1990's. These were cardboard strips that you inserted into a slot in the turnstile and a mechanism stamped the date and chopped off a corner (so the print head would align with the next blank on the next day). I still have one (all the days used up). The picture was black and white.

That's a ride ticket, not a park admission ticket. Not valid for park admission, sorry.

I just came across a couple of All Three Parks Passport 4 Day Magic Kingdom Club tickets that still have one unused day in them. The third date stamped was Feb 04, 1990. Are these still valid? Cannot find expiration date anywhere.

This is a nine-year old thread, but I'm assuming the new question is legit. I haven't seen any recent information on really old tickets but the information below was true the last I knew.

Most all tickets issued prior to 2005 were non-expiring tickets and could be used for entry to all of the major parks. If the ticket is on non-mag stripe stock or the stripe has been demagnetized, you can get a new ticket issued as a replacement at any park ticket booth or Guest Relations Office (including DTD). You may or may not be able to get it done at a resort.

These tickets probably can still be used for entry but almost certainly can't be upgraded. At one time you could use the original Disney selling price of an old ticket but that would be a lot less value than using it for entry.

Thank you for the reply. Yes, the ticket is on non-mag strip stock and has a bar code on the back. Anyway we could verify its validity before going to the park(s)?
