I'm thinking about signing up for this program since I'm currently unemployed and have to watch my budget. I'd like to hear any thoughts and comments you might have on it. Also, does anyone know where I would find a discount code to use when I register? Maybe the WW Magazine? I'd appreciate your input! Thanks!

They have a contest for 3 months free. If you watch sometimes they have discounts on their site. But no idea on any promotions.

I love the online but had to cancel due to leaving my job and relocating. I can't wait to get back to it when I get employed but thinking of joining a gym first.

Please share more of what the on-line thingy is. Is there a link to it?

:confused3

I'm not good at posting links, but if you search the WW website, you'll find a choice for their online program. From what I understand you'll be able to access the weekly program materials, and track and record your food, weight, etc. You'll also have access to the full recipe database. For those on a budget this is a more economical way to reap the benefits of the WW program. The only element that's missing is the meeting, but you'd be able to get support on their message boards. I really think I'm going to try it, but first I'm searching around for that code. I picked up the WW magazine yesterday which has some great articles, but wasn't able to find a code. Good luck to you!!!

WW also offers an At Home kit. Search the WW site for the terms At Home and they will pop up. There are two to choose from and it's a one time cost.

I like the Online WW because I don't have to write in the journal. You can type it in online. It keeps your favorites so you can push one button and be done. I tried their online recipies which I can just print off my computer. The balsamic chicken is really good! I can look up food for the points so my husband can take my little booklet when he goes out of town. It also keeps track of how many points you have for the day and the extra 35 you get every week.

I'm sure there's more to it I don't even know about :) I think it's also the cheapest way to sign up for WW now too.

go to WeightWatchers.com

I don't know of any codes but I do know some insurance companies will pay for a piece of it if you are in their program.

I do the monthly pass which is the most expensive $39 per month but it is full online access PLUS as may meetings as you want to go to. For me that option worked best. However just the online is about $14 you can just participate in the message boards for free but you do not have access to the points information or the online tracker. I have heard that you can buy the points books on ebay and you can make your own tracker.

Weight Watcher works. It's not a diet,it's a live it. I've been on it since May 19th and my ticker says it all.

I am not sure what you are looking for.

Weight watchers is not owned by Disney
Anyway www.weightwatchers.com

I use it and like it. You can also get access to it on your Blackberry type phone to update while on the go, but that parts a little basic!

OH!!! WW doesn't stand for Walt (Disney) World.

I thought this was DISBoards and everyone talked about Disney.

Oh well... Silly me.:rotfl2:

Congrats to you on your success with WW Mary Anne. I love to hear about positive results. I'm confused about the online program though...I believe you do have access to the tracker, etc, otherwise what are you really paying for?

I looked into my insurance reimbursement, and they will pay up to $200.00 a year for certain weight loss programs, and WW is included, but you must attend the meetings. So... this might be the better option for me at this time. Monthly pass is available in my area, which is a great plus! I'll have to check out some meeting times.

I really enjoy WW online. I also signed up for the unlimited meetings. Some people have found great success just using the eTools (the online WW method), but I don't think I could have done it without going to the meetings. Meetings are not for everyone, but if you are looking for a supportive and encouraging environment where there is accountability, then you may just enjoy the meetings. I am a lifetime member after losing 66.4 pounds, but I still go to the meetings. Once you reach your 'goal' weight - as determined by WW, or by your doctor determining a healthy weight for you, then you are free (as long as you remain below your goal, or go up to 2 pounds over). SO, my meetings are now completely free, but I still pay about $12 a month for the etools. I just really like it, but in no way is it necessary. I like the recipes on etools, the videos, the weight training/exercise tips, and especially the food tracker. I have always logged mine through the WW online etools site and it's soooooo easy! Let me know if you need anymore help with the etools!
