Anyone use wegoshop.com?

How was your experience with them? I noticed on their website that it says they match competitors rates. They said $22 for the first $100 ordered - gardengrocer is only $12. Have they honored that rate for anyone? Any other thoughts?

We have used wegoshop.com on 2 of our trips. The first trip our total was almost $200 (for 2 families and we got way too much stuff). I don't remember what the fee was. On our last trip (Jan 07) we used them again. Our order was only about $35 so the fee wasn't too much. I don't think it was $22 or I wouldn't have bothered for that amount. They have always gotten us everything we ordered and the amount for the groceries was what I expected to pay, based on what I pay at home here in NJ.

I'll check my planner from our last trip to see if I still have the reciept from them to see how much the shopping fee was.

We have only ever used gardengrocer and have loved each experience. I will stick with them because their $12 fee is less than wegoshop.

We loved Wegoshop when we used them in '05, and we're planning to use them again on our Dec trip (we didn't bother with groceries for the trips in between). While their fee is a little more than Garden Grocer they'll shop where ever you request, which made them the cheaper service for us. That $5 (on orders <$100) or $10 (on orders from $100 to $200) difference in the delivery fee disappears pretty quickly when you compare Garden Grocer's prices to Publix!

How exact of a time can you choose for delivery? (for either that you have tried) I ask because we have an ADR we will have to rush to get to the night we get in so we will have to schedule a delivery for the next morning. I'm sure we will be so excited to be there that we will want to get going the next day and not want to wait around for a food delivery if they gave me like a 3 hour window or something - kwim?

When we used them, she told me just to call and schedule a delivery time when we arrived at the resort and she was there within about 45 min of my call. It worked out really well that way, because our flight was a little early and we were all hungry so we were able to have dinner first and then I hung out at the room to get the delivery while DH took the kids down to the pool.

We have used wegoshop twice. Very pleased with them. I like that I can send them exactly what we want-- brands, flavors, sizes, when a substitute or generic is OK. I have heard gardengrocer says you can put your special requests in, but that is not what their business is about. For wegoshop it is totally custom shopping.

We've used wegoshop a few times and it was wonderful every time! They came right when they said, got all of our times, called with any questions/problems - they were fantastic!

We used wegoshop on our last trip and have absolutely no complaints. We were very impressed that if she couldn't get what we specifically ordered, she called us to find out what else would be acceptable. She was at our resort when she said she would be, and even told us that if we needed anything else during our stay,we could call and the delivery fee would be half price. We used GG in the past and my one big complaint about them is that they are not very communicative. We sent them emails and never got responses. They did deliver what we ordered but the Wegoshop experience was so much more pleasant, we will definitely be using them again.
