Anyone use Ty Boyce for photos???

Okay, well my husband talked to Disney Fine Art Photography last week and tried to request Regina for our Epcot photo session...they didn't know if she would be available or not?!?

So then we tried to request Amy...again, they didn't know if she would be available either?!? Apparently everyone and their mom requests Regina and/or Amy

So they said that they would set us up with Ty Boyce. Anyone have him in the past? What did you think of his pictures/personality/etc?!?!

Ty has been with DPS for many years. He did our Magic Kingdom shoot in 2007 and we were very pleased with him and his photos.

Ty is great! He shot our Escape wedding in December. Very efficient at getting all the important shots, and had some creative ideas for other pics. He had a new lens that could make the castle look very big in the background during our ceremony at the WP Oh, and as a bonus, he was "eye candy" for the wedding guests

We have been assigned to him and we had our phone conference today. He was very nice and asked good questions. I felt really comfortable talking to him. We requested either him or Regina.

We also had Ty for our MK shoot - we had Misty for our wedding, reception and Epcot DP. While we thought he was great and really tried to work with us I would suggest if you have any specific pictures you want, maybe try to bring a screen shot of the picture. I really wanted a picture on the Carousel on a horse. While we got a few of these pictures, they were all very close up, so basically you saw me and DH the horses head. While it is a very nice picture, it is not what I wanted - I really wanted a picture of the whole horse. I know this seem like a little problem and in the great scheme of things it was not terrible - I was so disapointed.

No matter what photograher you have - if there is a specific picture you want, try to bring a copy of it and show your photographer. Like I said earlier, we had Misty and she was wonderful - I did bring some copies of pictures I really wanted and let her see them. They were not all her pictures, but she had no problem with us showing her what we wanted. Of course we also wanted her to use her imagination, which she did. I firmly believe if you have something specific you want - make sure your photographer understands.

We had Ty for a family photo shoot when we were at WDW for our wedding last month. I don't have the photos yet, so I can't comment on how they look, but he was fabulous to work with, as was his assistant. We were a multigenerational group of nine and Ty and his assistant made everyone feel comfortable and listened to any ideas that we had, and they handled everything so smoothly. We saw a few photos in Ty's camera viewfinder and heard from another DPS photographer that the shots were really great, so I'm really looking forward to seeing them soon.

We had Ty for our MK portraits in 2010 and were VERY pleased! He's also fun and makes you feel very comfortable so that's a plus. I have a few pics linked in my PJ towards the end if you'd like to see a few.

We had ty and he was brilliant! Very cool guy and knew what he was doing. He recognised our that our family wasn't typical and worked around the different shots. He had lots of ideas and was open to what we wanted even if it meant spending a little longer to get the shots we wanted.

We had Ty for our Escape Vow Renewal in February of this year. He was absolutely wonderful and the pictures were fantastic. I work for a professional photographer and believe me Ty was extremely professional, easy to work with and really shot some great photos. You will be in good hands with Ty!
