Anyone use Thrifty Car Rental lately?

We currently have a car booked through Thrifty for our upcoming trip, but I'm getting some conflicting reports. A couple of websites say that Thrifty's cars on onsite at the airport (just walk out to the garage to get the car), and a couple of others are saying that you have to take a shuttle to the lot. Anyone rent from them recently and can let me know? We're arriving late Wednesday night, and I don't want to have to deal with a shuttle...

i would like to know this too, have a rental with them in january. compact any idea what kind of car?

We reserved a mid-size and were given a minivan at no extra charge. I signed up for their frequent renter program before I left and they said maybe the upgrade was because I was a member.

We arrived at 9:40pm. There was no line. About 4 people working at the counter. They did mention that I could have used the other line for members if there had been any line.

Returning of car was quick (about 10am). Drove in, by the time we were done unloading our stuff someone was there to check it, and got a receipt.

I hadn't used them in a long time - but they had the best price and triple Southwest credits, so I figured I'd try them. We've been using Alamo/National and like to pick our car, but had no complaints about the one Thrifty assigned us this trip.

I used them just a couple of weeks ago - no problems, and yes, you do just walk out at MCO to the garage to pick up your car.

Just returned last night Thrifty was great. Arrived late Wed night (10pm) no line - was in the car within 15 minutes of getting to the desk. Cars were right outside the airport doors. Car was clean and fairly new (PT Cruiser - economy). Return took about 5 minutes - just pulled into the Thrifty return spot at the airport, the gentleman looked over the car and printed out a receipt from a handheld machine. All in all, a great experience!

FYI - we used an Orlando Magicard (you can print them out online) to get a really good deal.
