Anyone use the photo processing in the Resort Gift Shops?

I was wondering if anyone has used the photo processing in the resort gift shops? If you have, is it same day or overnight? I was also wondering what the quality of the pictures is like? I have used CVS same-day processing and I don't like the way the pictures come out. However, I have used a local camera shop for same day and their quality is great. The reason I am asking is that I was hoping to take a picture for our Christmas card during our trip. I thought I could have the film developed and have the picture all picked out so I could go to the camera shop as soon as we get home.

Any opinions?

When I stayed at Coronado Springs in June 2002 I had my film developed there. It is a 24 hour service. Well, more like your film will be ready after 1pm the next day, I think. Anyways, I was impressed with the pictures. I used the disposable kodak cameras. Glad I did it. Seems like it takes me forever to get them developed once I get home.

I used the resort gift shop at the Polynesian for developing our professional shots taken at our recent vow renewal. I dropped them off about 1:00 PM and got them back the next morning about 9:00. Its a bit more expensive. It cost us 93.00 for three rolls of prints with double prints and photo disks but it was important to me to get them back quickly and the quality was WONDERFUL. They actually take the film over to MK to have it developed. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

WE DID IT AT POR AND THE QUALITY WAS VERY GOOD. IT WAS JUST TO EASY TO DROP IT OFF ON THE WAY TO THE PARKS AND GET TO SEE THE GREAT PICTURES THE NEXT MORNING.:bounce:

I've developed my film at WDW many times and each time the quality was excellent. Better then some of the places at home.

We use WDW on every trip. Wife likes to do a scrap book at night in the room during the trip. Every time the pictures have been great. Great quality, never a problem. It is a little more expensive then back home but worth it, too get your pictures the next day. We drop the film off at what ever park we are at when the roll runs out and pick up the pictures the next day at our hotel gift ship real easy and they can charge you room also.

have a great trip.

I was also impressed with the quality of the pictures :) It is a little on the expensive side, but I think it's worth it. I usually develop a couple of rolls while I'm at WDW... that way, I know if I'm missing any pictures or if something's wrong with my camera (it happened once).

I was very happy with the quality and the prompt processing.. everything worked like clockwork.

They are definately more expensive than at home, but move convenient.

We have always been very happy with pictures developed at WDW-- no complaints!:D

The last time I used it was in '98, when they lost one of my rolls of film. :(

Personally...with pics that are important to me I would never do a 24 hour anything with them. I'd find the closest Walgreen's or CVS and do the 1 hour or same-day. That way you don't risk a lost roll of film.

I've had rolls of film lost before containing pics that could never be shot again, so I never trust a regular 24 hour processing that has to have film "shipped".

It may cost a bit more, but it is well worth it to know that your pics will be ready the same day without leaving the premises.
