Anyone use the new in room babysitting service (that used to be kindercare)?

I'm just wondering as I haven't read any posts about it. Anyone use the new company - I think it's called "Kids Night Out" isn't it? Would like to hear any comments about their service.

Thanks.

Yes, I used them for my daughter (8) in April when I had to go to a daytime meeting. They sent a very nice older woman and she was great with my daughter. The only mix-up was they thought she was a BOY (her name is Sammy, short for Samantha) so the hand-held game the sitter brought was a little more boy-oriented.

The sitter told me that Kids Night Out basically hired all the sitters that Kindercare had that serviced Disney.

I would not hesitate to use them. :D

Thanks Michelle,

I always like to hear the experiences people have for future reference. Do you recall your sitter's name? I guess "Sammy" could be a little confusing :)

Have a good evening.

I wish I could remember her name (my daughter would, but she's at school at the moment). If I find out I'll PM you! :D

We had an older lady and she was able as the one last year to get them to sleep before we returned from our dinner for our Anniversary. My kids were almost 3 and 6yo. We take a pager and a cell phone so we are easily reached. My kids love the Disney channel so they did that a while and walked outside with her . She did bring some toys as well.

She commented on the new management not being as organized as the old. I noticed that they had raised the rates $3-5 dollars an hour over last year.

I think it is a help for them to have an early nite in the middle of the week. I was a little nervous leaving them with someone who is unknown. My older son now is fully able to use the phone. He has a fairly good head on his shoulders. That's no guarantee of safety, but I feel better than if they were younger.

Our sitter's name was JESSIE, I have been informed by my daughter. :)
