Anyone use the Disney Pix-Click yet?

I just bought this today (at Best Buy) for my 4 yo daughter and checked it out to see whether or not I'll keep it. The picture quality is what I expected (640 x 480), about the same as a Treo 650 camera. But the flash works, the controls seem pretty easy to use, & the Ariel design is cute. I have a Mac so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to transfer the photos to it. The USB cable (included) worked fine. My husband has a pc so I guess we'll have to use the Disney editing software on his computer. One thing though: I couldn't get the camera to turn off! It does shut itself off after 1 min., so I guess that's not really a problem.

All in all, it's a cute, kid-friendly colorful camera and we'll keep it (assuming my daughter will like it...).

BTW, I also looked at the Fisher Price camera but decided against it in that it seemed a little babyish in style and the Disney one is cheaper (& $10 off @ Best Buy through 12/9/06.

Can I assume that you're not talking about the "max" version (I don't think those are as cute as the other ones, but I really wanted the 3 megapixels).

My local Best Buy still had the max as of 2 days ago, but I see they are sold out on-line.

For those who've bought the max - did you find a camera case somewhere for it? All of the ones I've tried are just a TAD too small, I finally wound up getting a "medium"-sized bag from Target this morning.

Curious to hear from someone who's tried the 3mp max to see if it's any good. It's so new that I can't really find any user reviews anywhere.

DD6 is getting the max, DS3 is getting the Fisher Price. They'll both be thrilled.... I also thought about putting a picture of Santa on the memory card!!!

I'll let you know. I am going to take the camera tomorrow when we go to visit Santa and have a friend snap a pic of the big guy for me while the kids are distracted. Yes, it is the max (not the cute ones, but the one that looks like Mommy's camera!) I haven't looked for a case yet. I have one for my camera that I don't use and was hoping that would work, but not so confident now!

I finally picked up a Denali bag from Target that is listed as "medium". I really wanted the small, but after trying three cases I just resigned myself to the bigger one.

I found that my case (that I don't use) fits perfectly with the max.

We took it to see Santa. I had a friend with me and she got a shot of Santa with it. The picture quality isn't awesome, but it's not terrible either.

It also allows you to take pics with your fav characters in the shot! Too cute! For the price, she is going to love it!

Disney pix max is the better of them for a kids camera I beleive. It has the most mega pixels 3, and here's the biggie. It's has a SD card slot. The make sure you dont get the internal memory ones as most only hold up to 24 pictures. Kids are click happy just keep a couple of cards happy and upload them to a lap top or computer when you can.
