Anyone use peapod for grocery deliveries?

I got a coupon when the baby was born for $10 off and I have been so busy lately with the girls, work, my home party business, christmas shopping and since the baby is not sleeping through the night yet, I am only operating at about 60%. I realized the cupboards are bare and didn't see any free space on my schedule so last night I went online and placed my order. It will delivered between 5:30 -9:30. It was a pretty painless process.

If you do this, please give me feedback neg. and pos.! How much do I tip the driver?!

I don't usually tip the driver because I'm a cheapo.

I really like Peapod. I find it to be about 5-10 dollars more than my normal grocery bill.

I loves me some Peapod I get a delivery every week. The first order is the hardest because you have to go through and find everything, but after that it's all saved on a list. The only thing I don't buy through them is meat because I get all of that at Costco, and toiletries/cleaning supplies/paper goods etc...

For me personally, it saves me money. I am a huge impulse shopper. Let me loose in the grocery store without a list, and bad things are bound to happen

I was spending well over $200 (sometimes closer to $300) per week for my family of 5, now it's less than $100 including the delivery fee and a $5 tip. Well worth it in my opinion.

The only downside is that they don't always have the exact item that I want. Sometimes I have to get a different brand or size, and sometimes if it's something a little obscure, they won't have it at all and then I have to make that dreaded trip to the store....

So, all in all a positive experience for me

My DW loves Peapod. Pros: it is easy; they deliver everything to your door; they usually choose very good produce, meat, fruit. We've had only a few complaints and most were minor. The worst is when they run late, but in our area if they are late, DW just calls and gets a credit on the next order.
