We will actually be at holiday inn right outside of airport.

How many people was that for....we are a family of 5 traveling with a family of 4 and lots of bags...so we would need more than one car...but weighing all options. Mostly concerned about luggage space

We took an Uber XL from the cruise ship to the airport and it was $111 all in. Uber X would be about 2/3 that, I think. We took an Uber XL from BLT to port canaveral and it was $132. We had arranged with a driver to meet us at both BLT and Port Canaveral at our appointed times (we logged onto the system once we were in his car -- it was a driver I had previously used at Food and Wine who was very reliable.

Going to the port, I think that is in their radius, but you should consider tipping because they are driving you 45 minutes away with no guarantee of a return trip.

I would not rely on Uber to make a tight connection on the way back from the port to MCO, unless you have prearranged with a driver -- there do not appear to be many drivers in that area, and before my driver logged on, the system was bouncing between "no Uber XL available" to a 25 minute wait. You may have better luck with UberX, but the XLs were few and far between.
