Has anyone used child size Seabands for their child ?
Did they work ?
My DD(almost 4) get motion sickness and I need some ideas to help her.
Thank you for any info. you can provide !

Seabands aren't the most reliable for motion sickness. Have you tried Bonine or Children's Dramamine or Gravol? Those remedies seem to work best when combating motion sickness.

We recently used sea bands for an older child. We have used medication since he was three but HATE the side effects of it. We used the bands on a short four hour trip and combined it with sipping ginger ale and sitting up front. Now before I get flamed, my DS is 12 and 100 pounds, the weight recomanded for our car air bags. NEVER put a child younger or smaller in the front. Doing all this it worked fair. He never thew up , but did not feel great. However once we got there he felt fine and we did not have to deal with him being so sleepy for the next several hours. I say try it on a short trip with the dramamine along and see how it works. Good luck.

I have severe motion sickness and dramamine is the only thing that works for me. I have taken it all of my life. It does make me sleepy, so I just sleep. It has to be taken every 4 to 6 hours, so for me it wears off in that time which is fine (I just retake for longer trips.) I think a lot depends on the severity of a persons illness. I agree, try the bands for a shorter trip, but have dramamine just in case. People who don't get motion sick have no idea how awful it is.

I have personally used the sea bands for morning skiness and they work, because they cut of the circulation to your hands!!! That is one concern that I have with putting them on children. My hands would fall asleep and fingers begin to tingle. So I could only wear them for a short period of time. I don't know if the adults have sizes, but I am petite and it was awful. I feel bad for someone with a bigger wrist and how they would feel..
