Anyone Use Bowflex?

I just saw an infomercial for Bowflex. They make it look so easy. You can actually sit down while doing the exercise and lose weight and inches. I was curious if anyone has used this and if it actually works. I really don't need to lose any weight, but I would like to be toner than I am. This product seems to be ideal, as I hate to exert myself I just wanted to make sure it works before I go and buy it. Thanks

I have the bowflex and find it to be fair, and usable. It is really a tension type of machine, if you are looking to just shape rather than build muscles, then the bowflex will work. I still use my gym membership also, I enjoy using the different machines at the gym, and use my bowflex as a secondary unit. I just prefer the atmosphere at the gym rather than being by myself.

I have only one question about bowflex.

On the tv they lose all that weight and inches in 6 weeks, and they all get a great tan.

How does bowflex give you a tan?

Funny how well those infomercials make it look so easy and achievable, that is until you read the fine print after the product is delivered......

I have a Bowflex and yes it works. I find it easy but like anything you have got to keep it up or it's not going to work. We got the Ultimate one and we all love it! I alternate with a treadmill every other day mostly in the Winter months. In the summer we swim.
It is a very large machine so you have to have some room when you set it up.
