Anyone use Alltel for cell phone in parks

Has anyone used an alltel cell phone in the parks & if so how was the reception?

We just don't feel very confident that we will get very good reception in the parks & are considering using 2 way radios instead.

I've used Alltel in all the parks. It has worked fine all over WDW.

What phones are you actually using? We have the cheap phones that you can buy. An LG & motorola.

We have an LG( I dont know the model but its the maroon colored flip phone) and it worked fine all over. We did have 1 dropped call, but thats pretty good IMO, since we have more than that here at home.

We have three Alltel phones (hubby, me and teenage son) and we were able to keep in touch with each other just fine.

Just got back from a week in Orlando and around the parks and three Altell phones worked great the whole time....

Both my Alltell phone and my boyfriend's Alltell phone worked great on both our trips there. I remember last year sitting on a bench talking to my mom back here in Virginia Beach while my boyfriend and his daughter were on a ride I didn't want to go on. No problems at all.

All our AllTel phones worked great. Better than at home, in fact. We had two Nokias and two Motorolas. We were keeping in contact with my sister and BIL who both have T-Mobile. Didn't have a problem.

My Nokia was the only one that's still one of the old analog, non-digital phones. It worked fine. (I'll keep it until I HAVE to change it. It's only $18 a mo. and I don't need a "plan".)
