I am hoping to be able to buy 4 tickets to cancun or punta Cana in April. I am not seeing much availability for February so I am a little worried that they will not have availability. Does anyone have any experience with purchasing reward travel with AirTran?

Call them -- we tried to book a reward flight on an EMPTY PLANE and was told that rewards were not allowed on that flight -- or any flights to our destination, because they didn't have reward seats to that destination.
We managed to work something out since all of our points were earned to and from that destination --
but call them.
