Anyone up for a mug question?!

I have not seen this particular question before, so I thought I would get some opinions here.

My husband and I have a one night AP package on Dec. 10 with the QSDP. We will get mugs with this package. I know that the mugs are good for the length of our stay.

We have a second package at the same hotel starting on Dec. 11 with the regular DP. No mug comes with this plan. We check out on Dec. 15.

So, are our mugs only good Dec. 10-11, or will we be allowed to use them until we check out on Dec. 15?

I used them in multiple resorts on the same stay ( WL/AKL/Beach club) with no problems

Policy is "the mugs are good for the length of your stay". Meaning after you leave at check out you can't use them.

Now since you have a "split" stay and are staying at the same hotel this is really an ethics question....and you will get various answers.

Basically it comes down to what you feel about it.

To the OP since you didn't list the resorts you are staying at here is something you need to know. If you are first staying at All Star Sports right now they are testing out an RFID chip inside their mugs, so that means the mugs sold over there won't work at the other resort Quick Service locations.

Since you are doing a split stay, and the mugs are only included with the QSP for the first day, then your mugs technically are only good during that time. If the mugs were included in your next stay, they would give you two more mugs.

This is more of an ethical question. Once the chips are installed at all the restaurants, you mug would only work for the first and second day.

I personally think it would be ok to use the mugs. I know i wouldnt purchase another mug since its technically one vacation. Lets say i book 4 different resorts during my stay, that means i'd have to buy 4 different mugs? Lol. Not gonna happen with me. But like the others said, its up to you.

I stayed at ASSp last month where they are using the chips. I checked in and got my mug on 9/16. My checkout date was 9/19. Whenever I used the mug at ASSp the machine said my mug was good until 10/3. I think once you activate your mug you can use it for 2 weeks. I don't think that at this point the chip system is tracking when each mug patron is checking out.
