Anyone up for a Dis Meet May 30?

I hope we find a way to meet up around the pool at Pop, or something. I know on Tuesday May 31th we are planning on hanging around the resort in the evening. Maybe get some pool time and some yummy Pop pizza delivery.
Also, I noticed that you are AK that day. Us too! We are doing tusker house before rope drope and Yak and Yetti @6:45. We will probably head over to DTD for a short while, then hang at the pool/arcade back at pop.

We'll be doing lots of pool time in the afternoons and evenings as well! We can find time to meet for sure! All of us are doing QSDP but being at the same resort, I bet we can meet up or if it's at AK or DTD we can try meeting even if it's just for ice cream or a snack!

Just found this thread and I think we will be following you most of the week.

We are at MK on Sunday and Epcot on Monday but all the rest line up Tuesday through Friday. Saturday 6/4 we are at MK and Sunday 6/5 we will most likely be at AK.

I would love to run into some of the people from the DIS boards.

I will be going the same time as most of you all May 28-June 5th. We (my two nephews, 11 and 16 and I) will be staying at POP century too! I would love to meet some fellow DISers! I think that we can work it so we are at AK on Tuesday May 31. We might already have that planned but I am at work without my schedule.

We've never been to a DIS meet. How do you do it at a restaurant? Do you just find each other & say "hi"?

Well we must have all gotten our travel tips from the same place! LOL!

My nephews and I don't have breakfast plans since we are only on the quick service dining plan but what about meeting at the safari or at another ride or part of the park? Maybe at the Kusafiri bakery mid morning or early afternoon for a snack? Just throwing out ideas, here!!

We'll probably go on the safari after breakfast. I'd like to go on Rafiki's Nature Watch before lunch. Also plan to attend Harambe School! (We didn't know about it last time.)

We love Rafikis and of course the Safari but I am not familiar with the Harambe school. I am up for meeting at any of those places...or somewhere new. Whatever the majority decides!

After we eat I'll have to run for FP for EE, then we are planning to head over to the safari. Maybe we could all meet up for the safari then go from there.

I also am not familiar with the Harumbi School. What is that?

It looks like a few of us might be in Epcot on Friday the 3rd...here are my tentative plans:

Fri 27: Arrive in MCO at 12:35, MK till about 6, Epcot for EMH (till 12, might not stay that late)
Sat 28: AK (EMH in the am)
Sun 29: Undecided park for the am, MK from 5 pm onwards (EMH till 2am)
Mon 30: AK in the am for EMH, HS in the afternoon (EMH till 10 pm)
Tue 31: MK in the am for EMH, Epcot later on for EMH till 12 am
Wed 1: HS in the am for EMH, dinner at 5 pm at Saana's, but undecided as to what to do after dinner
Thu 2: AK for an 8 am Tusker House breakfast, then undecided/free day
Fri 3: Epcot in the am for EMH, HS in the afternoon
Sat 4: Flight home at 12:35 pm

A lot of my planning revolves around the EMH's and my dining reservations

I like this idea.

I have always wanted to do a Dis meet but DH thinks it's nuts. Then again, he thinks I'm nuts for being on here everyday. He is not going on this trip so I could do it. As a matter of fact, my DD is also a Dismember so I am sure she would love to do this too!!

Here is our plan for the week:

We are staying at POR.


Saturday: Arrive by lunch, check in, ride the boat to Down Town Disney, have lunch, shop, return to resort to get ready for dinner at Chef Mickeys @ 5:30. Drive to Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic (9 or 10:30)

Sunday: Open Magic Kingdom at 9:00, dinner at Crystal Palace at 6:05pm, SpectroMagic, New Memories Show & Wishes!! Park closes at 12 or 2am.

Monday: Open Epcot and hop to Hollywood Studios for dinner at 50’s Prime Time Café at 5:45.

Tuesday: Open Animal Kingdom, see parade at 3:45, hop to Epcot for dinner at Coral Reef at 6:05, See Illuminations after dinner.

Wednesday: Magic Kingdom!! Dinner at Ohana at 5:10, return to MK or possibly to Down Town Disney. (anything is fine)

Thursday: Open Hollywood Studios, Dinner at Epcot’s Teppan Edo at 5:50pm. Anything goes after that.

Friday: Epcot, have lunch at Le Cellier Steak House at 11:30. Play the rest of the day by ear.

Saturday: Magic Kingdom Day, dinner at Kona Café at 6:30. Anything goes after that.

Sunday: Load car, check out, go to park or DTD until after lunch & head home.

Harambe School: (See link above) It's set up like an outdoor school in an Afican village (in this case, Harambe).

10:30 Safari ride sounds like a plan. I'll have my LGMH on my bag, waiting out side of the safari.

okay sounds like a plan. I tried to get a tusker house ADR for that day to maybe run into your all but it didn't work out in my favor. I figured 10:30 might give those with breakfast ressies time to run to EE and then to safari. We'll see what happens. My nephews and I will meander over to Safari at 10:30 and see who'se there!! Excited to meet some fellow DISers!
