Anyone up for a Dis Meet May 30?

I've never met anyone from Disboards. We will be there from Monday May 30 till Monday June 6. We are having dinner at Chef Mickey's. Anyone want to meet up? Or if that's not good for you. Lets plan something during those days. It will be me, DH and DS (7). From Wed June 1 on, my parents will be joining us.

This could be fun...let me know!

I think a Dis-Meet would be awesome! I'm there from May 27-June 4...I have a suggestion...if you guys are taking them. How about a Dole Whip meet on the 31st? There are EMH at the MK that morning...Epcot is also open late on the 31st, so if people were planning to go to certain parks based on the EMH's then maybe we could set up a place in one of those parks?

HEY! Welcome aboard! We are actually having our dis-meet at 6:15 ADR's at Chef Mickey's we would love for you to join us. There are 2 family's so far.

Unfortunatly Tue our family will be at AK. Maybe we have another day that our plans match.

We're going to be staying at POP May 29th- June 5th. It's going to be me, DS8, DS12 (who will be 13 by then!), my sister, her husband and their twin girls 8yrs and their son 6yrs. I'd love to meet other DISers! I know we can't make Chef Mickeys.....I'll sub to this thread and see what our plans are! I think it would be fun to meet any of you!!

Yay! As of now, here's how we're planning our days:

Sun- (Arriving around 3:00pm) DTD, might go to MK for EMH that night
Mon Epcot
Tues AK
Wed MK
Thurs DHS
Fri Epcot
Sat ??

We're gonna use the miniature golf passes that come with the package but not sure which day yet, and of course there's gonna be pool time planned nearly every day! Plus my boys and my sister's kids will want to play at the arcade in the main building so I'm sure we'll have plenty of opportunities to plan to meet!

ETA: I had us doing DHS two days when Epcot is my fave??? Changed Mon to Epcot. We have park hoppers and we will do whatever park we feel like in the evenings....maybe.... (I'm trying to only do a Commando touring schedule during the days per my sister's request )

My family of 4-me,DW,DS(4),DD(1.5) and my twin brother's family of 5-him,DW,DD(8),DD(7),DD(13) are going May 29-June 4 2011.This is our plans so far.
Sunday-29th-arrive appr. 1:30-3:00 p.m.-go to Epcot for ADR 6:00p.m. Biergarten or 4:15 Coral reef. Walk around,take it easy then early to bed.
Monday-30Th-Chef Mickey's ADR 7:30a.m. then MK rope drop, then ADR 4:10dinner@cinderella's castle.Then back to POP to swim and relax.
Tuesday-31st-DHS-rope drop-no ADR's-Cs possibly.Fantasmic later that evening maybe after nap/pool time between 1-4p.m.
Wednesday-1st-AK-breakfast @ Rainforest cafe,then rope drop. Leave by 1:00 p.m. for naps/pool @ POP and possibly DTD.No ADR's.
Thursday-2nd-Epcot-rope drop-ADR lunch@Teppan Edo 12:10 p.m. Leave around 1:00 and head to POP or MK,not sure how we will feel by then.
Friday-3rd-MK-rope drop-See kids choice attractions,then leave for naps/pool@POP.Then ADR @ Ohana's, then back to MK for our last HOORAH!All nighter for MSEP@9 and Wishes @ 10,then EMH from 10-1a.m. OR till kids get really tired and cranky.
Saturday- Leave for Ocean Springs,MS. early around 8:00 a.m.

We will be more than happy to have company while we are there. We will have almost every age group for families with only child.

It looks like a few of us might be in Epcot on Friday the 3rd...here are my tentative plans:

Fri 27: Arrive in MCO at 12:35, MK till about 6, Epcot for EMH (till 12, might not stay that late)
Sat 28: AK (EMH in the am)
Sun 29: Undecided park for the am, MK from 5 pm onwards (EMH till 2am)
Mon 30: AK in the am for EMH, HS in the afternoon (EMH till 10 pm)
Tue 31: MK in the am for EMH, Epcot later on for EMH till 12 am
Wed 1: HS in the am for EMH, dinner at 5 pm at Saana's, but undecided as to what to do after dinner
Thu 2: AK for an 8 am Tusker House breakfast, then undecided/free day
Fri 3: Epcot in the am for EMH, HS in the afternoon
Sat 4: Flight home at 12:35 pm

A lot of my planning revolves around the EMH's and my dining reservations

I hope we find a way to meet up around the pool at Pop, or something. I know on Tuesday May 31th we are planning on hanging around the resort in the evening. Maybe get some pool time and some yummy Pop pizza delivery.
Also, I noticed that you are AK that day. Us too! We are doing tusker house before rope drope and Yak and Yetti @6:45. We will probably head over to DTD for a short while, then hang at the pool/arcade back at pop.
