If this isn't allowed-- please let me know. My husband (35yo) was just diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and can no longer run. He is registered for the marathon, we have the packet, but he obviously can't use it. I don't know if there's any way we can transfer registration but we'd be happy to do it for someone.

I feel so bad for him, he trained so hard for 9 months, then had surgery for something and had to stop running for a week. He couldn't understand why his joint pain didn't get better during that week. Finally after 3 weeks of no relief went to the doctor, and blood tests showed rheumatoid arthritis. He has been strongly advised against running. This packet is just sitting here, it makes us feel bad that it will be wasted.

Unfortuenately I don't think you can transfer your registration to another person or have someone take his spot without telling anyone. If you think he might be able to run next year, you can tell Disney and he will have a spot in it but you will have to pay again.

You do have to show a license at the Expo, along with your waiver. A nice thought, but it wouldn't work.

ETA - forget that! I just read the letter info from another thread. Good to know!
