I had all my adr's in place at 180 days out for August, but I wanted to make 1change. I called yesterday to change Cape May to Ohana for dinner & the earliest they had for dinner was 9:20pm!:scared1: Oh well!!!!

By the way, the CM scolded me & said "you can make your dining reservations 180 days in advance" :rotfl:

Its not a big deal for us, we will just hang out at Epcot that night, but for anyone who is thinking of making a change, call asap & then keep checking back..sounds like free dining (which we are not using this time) will have those restaurants filled to capacity.

Wow, I just added a few days to my August trip and haven't gotten the ADRs for those extra days yet. I guess I should get on top of things.

I am also tweaking......tweaking almost every day!!!

Sounds like a bad thing lol........

Seriously....I have been making minor changes for the past two weeks and have been able to do whatever I needed. We are a party of six too. But then again I would never even attempt to touch LeCellier or my Fantasmic DInner package.

That's good to know

We are going in August as well. I either tweak or think about tweaking on a daily basis myself.

I usually get close to what I want, i.e., within an hour of a desired time.

Tweaking keeps the planning fresh, and planning is half the fun!!!!! :goodvibes

I find myself putting things off that I can get done all at once because what will I do if I dont have any planning left?!!

I have had some disturbing things happen as I have been tweaking. I booked some ressies through GrandGatherings and some through the WDW DINE number.

When I called to move stuff around the reg WDW DINE asked for a credit card to hold the Norway Princess Dinner when the Grand Gathering CM did not!

Then, the Grand Gathering CM said he showed some ADRs that I had canceled and they were for dates and times I had NOT reserved. I am worried that things are going to be messed up when it is all said and done!:scared1:

This DOES make me nervous also......especially when free dining first came out. I had made ADRS for the last 2 weeks of August. I needed to cancel that whole first week - yeah I was optimistic it would be both weeks haha. When I did that I found that one of my reservations was for the incorrect day and was now a double reservation but neither had been cancelled by Disney. I also has the CM read every reservation back to me when I was done because I have read of mistakes being made. I also intend on going to the Concierge of the GF the night of our first dinner reservation and requesting a printout of all of our ADR's. I have every ADR number typed up and if there is any problem I would hope it will be addressed when I produce the number.

I very well may call and have them read mine again. I still feel "funky" after last nights conversation with that CM. Anyhow, thanks for the help!:goodvibes

I just tweaked yesterday....gave up a 6:55 table for three at 50's Primetime for a 7:10 table at Captain's Grill & gave up a 7:10 table at Kona for a 7:55 table at Whispering Canyon. This last one is a little later than I like but not too bad....it's just me & my guys (10 & 12) so we can handle a late dinner.

I think you can tweak all you want...sometimes you might even get lucky!! The trick is to not stop trying....people cancel reservations all the time.

Last night I just booked 'Ohanas for 8pm on 8/15. After reading so much about it I wanted to try it. In the past 10 days I have been able to get Hollywood and Vine (Fastasmic), and Raglan Irish Pub right at the times we wanted. But we are not going during free dining.

OP are you going during free dining?

I could do the math from your count down, but that would hurt my head. :teeth:

I just booked for the second week in August and I need to make my ADRs.

All this talk made me call to double check my ADR's (and see if I could do a wee bit of tweaking around times;) ) and to my surprise, I found that the ADR I had booked at Coral Reef for August 29th, had in fact, been booked as MAY 29!!! Thankfully the CM was able to find a similar time for the 29th of AUGUST!, just a bit earlier! After that scare, I didn't bother with any tweaking, just double checked the rest of them, and let well enough alone. I am really happy with our line up anyway.....Crystal Palace on arrival day, Sci-Fi (the kids LOVE), Liberty Tree Tavern, O'Hana for DS's birthday breakfast, Hoop de Doo, Tusker House, and of course, the Coral Reef.....the only one I really wanted, and didn't get (yet.....;) ) is Chef Mickey.

just tried to tweak mine today. No luck.

I have been trying to get into Le Cellier 179 days before our vacation. And couldn't do an earlier time on another.

Do you just call the regular number and they can read them all back to you or do you have to go through each one by confirmation number??

A couple of weeks back we had to add 2 people to our ressies for mid August. I was SO worried since I had everything JUST perfect including a good lunch time for Le Cellier.

People told me to at least TRY to change them instead of just showing up and hoping they would let them et with us because I would worry each day. So I called and lo and behold I could change every single one of them to within 15-30 minutes. So we went from a party of 5 to a party of 7 no problem. But that was a couple of weeks ago so now it might be harder.

Added Boma at 9:35 during Labor Day weekend Free Dining. Requested breakfast there between 9-10, CM nailed it. We are a party of 2. Gave back a Boma Breakfast for 3 on Labor Day. Did all of this late last night.

Ive been adding and cancelling ADRs for the past week. Havent had any issues getting new ADRs either. Even got the times I wanted. But im not going during free dining so that might be why. My dates are Aug 5-17th.

That's what I did. I just told them my vacation dates and my name and asked them to read me back all my ADRs.

Everything was there, except one was off by 15 minutes. :goodvibes

i have been adding and canceling and changing for the past two weeks.....havent had a problem yet :cool1: but now i think i may call and ask them to read back to my all my ADRS and times....... hope they have them right!

P.S im going for FD over labor day weekend..and the fantastic CM i just spoke with confirmed all of my ADRs were correct
