Anyone try to book the Pirate Make-over today??

All of the articles that I read regarding the new pirate make-over place said that reservations were going to be taking beginning May 11th. Well, we tried SEVERAL times today and they finally said they were having software issues and that we should try tomorrow?


Did anyone else try to book today? My friends son is a pirate fanatic and this is going to make his trip extra special!

I got this off of a website. We called several times today too and Disney still does not have the reservations up and running- kind of surprising really. We will keep trying!

Calling all scoundrels, rogues and ne’er-do-wells – Captain Jack and the crew of the Black Pearl want YOU. Starting in late June, the Pearl drops anchor in Adventureland for The Pirates League, recruiting and training park guests of all ages in the scurrilous ways of buccaneers. Each guest checking in at the plunder-filled recruitment office gets an official pirate name. Next step is the Muster Station where – after applications of beards and eye patches, scarves and scars, earrings and gold teeth – the new recruits leave their old identities behind. Past a hidden portal and into the treasure cache, the new shipmates speak the pirate oath and have their official “pirate portrait” taken before being turned loose on an unsuspecting Adventureland – and no doubt feeling right at home at the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Boys, girls and grownups ready for the pirate life start the process by calling 407/WDW-CREW beginning May 11. Packages start at $49.95 plus tax.

I tried last night, the CM said MAYBE it will be up on friday, but it is a big maybe.

I called Weds and they had the system up but I couldn't book as it is 90 days same as ADR's what a pain.

the other thing is it is not like BBB where you do not have to make a decision about package until arrival this one they want to know package, they said you can change when you get there.

I am going to book a full package with costume and if they aren't appealing will change at time of booking to just face etc.

the other thing is they are not open the full time the park is and it is only available in MK no DTD location.

I was able to book our package tonight. The CM said they had a presentation on this last week and it looked fantastic. We can't wait!!

The line is now open - we were able to get our grandson booked yesterday.

I was able to book mine yesterdy (5-15). The CM said they were briefed on it last week and it looked awesome. I hope you get it booked soon.
