Anyone try Gu Chomps?

I just saw these at the running store so i grabbed a few packets to try them out. Has anyone else tried them yet? They're gummy candy with all the same amino acids/electrolytes as the gu gel. Since the gu gel is kinda gross IMHO I wanted to see how these are. I ate a few of the strawberry ones to see how my stomach would like them and they were REALLY good! I was very pleasantly surprised! Going to go for a run today so I'll test them out while running but so far so good! I would love to be able to use just these instead of the gel packs when running!
 
Since I pretty much use GU and Sports beans I thought I'd try the GU Chomps. I did not like them. I had the Orange which left a bad taste in my mouth. Couldn't even finish half a pack. On the positive side they do not stick to my teeth like the Cliff ones do.

I really like the GU Chomps, but I've only had Strawberry so far. Of all the chewy fuel options I've tried (sharkies, Luna Moons, Clif Shot Blocks, Sport Beans), I like the texture and consistency of the chomps the best.

I still use the GU gel before races, but I like to carry the chomps during the race because there's less mess. (Chocolate gel on white shirt = :mad:)

the orange ones I haven't tried yet... so far i like the strawberry and blueberry pomegranate...no after taste that I can tell.

I use the Cliff ones, same thing, and I love them!!!!

i'm NOT a fan of cliff shots so I haven't tried the cliff gummies.. I might have to!

yeah the strawberry ones are really good. blueberry pomegranate is pretty good too, although I only tasted one. not sure how a bunch at one time would be.
