Just curious, has anyone tried Avon's Lotus Shield?
I am having a terrible problem with frizzy hair this summer. I recently went to a hair shop--he recommended a product--"It's a 10"--he offered for me to return it if it did not work. Well it has not worked for me--I actually feel like it made my hair look even worse. I used enough that I don't feel right about returning it.
Any other products that people recommend to control frizz? Thanks for any suggestions.
No, I have never tried Avon's Lotus Shield, I would love to hear reviews and I like you also returned "It's a 10", I was not impressed with this product.
Yesterday, I went to my salon and had a cut and blowdry. My hair is thick, curly, frizzy and it takes work to style it. I just know that the hairdresser wants to charge me more to blow it out, but she never saids a word and so I tip her well. With the humidity at 100 degrees during the day, I don't have a chance of looking nice, so I go to work with curly, frizzy hair most of the time and try to pin it up to look half way decent.
As I walked out of the salon running to my car, putting the AC on high as fast as I could, because the only time I have pretty blow out hair is during the winter months. Vavaboom!!!! frizzy, puffy, hair. Little fly aways everywhere.
While driving home I ran into Trade Secrets and showed the woman there my hair and asked her to please help.
She recommended Joico Design Collection Humidity Blocker Finishing Sheild.
I was desperate for help. Bought it, sprayed it on my hands, ran my hands through my hair. Sprayed my hair, ran my fingers through my hair. Looked in the mirror when I got home and was IMPRESSED!
Slept on the style and got up this morning to see I still had a style!
I did not have any sticky spots that people claim to get with the product, maybe because I ran my fingers through my hair a couple of times. My hair is soft and smooth.
The real test will be when I blow dry my hair on my own and use this product to see how it will hold up. I will try to give my review as soon as I really test the product my way.
Trade Secrets told me to save the receipt and said I could return it if I was not happy for the full refund price of the product. As long as you don't use half the bottle.
I'm praying this is the miracle spray I have been dreaming off. I will let you know.
