I found this on ebay and wondered if anyone has tried it??? The price isn't bad if they are going to last. I just wonder :confused3

Here is a link to the auction I was looking at.

I copied and pasted the info from it.
NEXT GENERATION
IRON ON HEAT TRANSER PAPER

THIS PRODUCT IS DESIGNED FOR CRAYONS, MARKERS, COLORING PENCILS, PAINTS AND INKJET PRINTES.

YOU HAVE TO TRY IT TO BELIVE IT... NOTHING LIKE IT ON THE MARKET!!!

These sheets are 8.5 x 11" other sizes are available upon request.

WHAT MAKES THIS PRODUCT UNIQUE!!!

· No Hand! Once ironed, the image is gassed into the fibers of the fabric. To the blind eye it cannot be sensed on the fabric.

· Stretch It! After the image is cooled, you can stretch the fabric and it will have no impact on the image. It will not even crack! Try that with our competitor’s product.

· Versatility of Applications! You have the ability to apply this paper to 100% Cotton, Polyester, Spandex, Lycra blends, Genuine Leather, Wood, Silk and many more substrates.

· Iron it! Our chemist created this paper with the ability to iron out wrinkles by applying the iron directly onto the image without an overlay sheet. The image will not be affected at all. This feature also allows you the opportunity to add additional images without the need to worry about peeling previous images off. Try that with our competitor’s product.

· Washability! An image applied using our next generation paper can be washed in a bleach cycle without causing any bleeding.

· Crayons, Markers & Coloring Pencils! That is correct, you can not only place these sheets in your inkjet printer, this product has been formulated to accept crayons, markers and coloring pencils. Indefinite washing will have no impact on the color as well.

very interesting! "Sounds" like it might work better on certain fabrics than the plain transfers (i.e., rib tees).

never heard of them before myself. I wonder if there are any "reviews" out there on the internet on how they work?!

After seeing your post I went straight to Ebay and won some in the auction! I figured at that price I have nothing to loose!! I live in the UK and because the $ - £ exchange rate is good for us at the moment, it ended up being cheaper than buying my usual transfer paper in the shops here. The seller didn't even charge me for p&p!!
I was wanting to change brands of paper as my usual brand, although it irons on well etc was starting to crack after a few wears.
It may take a while to arrive but when it does, I'll let you know what I think

It states that its for LIGHT FABRICS....if it were for dark fabs...Id give it a try in a NY second!

OMG! I completely missed that it was for light fabrics! I went back and sure enough there is caps!!! How did I miss that :scared1: ???? I was all ready to go ahead and try it but I need it for dark colors! THANK YOU for pointint that out!!!

If you scroll down some they have some for dark fabics but a little pricer. I don't know if I should try it or not. I need quite a few for some shirts our group is making and would love to find a great price.

PLEASE post back to this board (you may need to start a new thread though) after you try them to let us all know what you think!

I did email the seller and ask if they made the new paper in Dark but they don't (yet). I have purchased from this seller in the past and I was quite pleased with the regular Dark paper I bought.

Definitely start a thread and let us know about the new paper! It might be worthwhile for the light colors. Usually I just dark for all of them.

I have been researching transfer papers for a couple hours now, and so far it seems the pros are using Jet Pro Soft Stretch transfer paper for light fabrics. This seller has this brand in their ebay store, but I can't tell if that is what is on sale for that auction as they don't mention a brand where I can see it. My main concern is that the ppl who are singing its praises all use heat presses rather than a lowly Rowenta like me so I don't know if the results will be as fabulous without even heat and pressure.

Still waiting to receive the parcel. I live in the UK so it may be some time. Will try it and report back asap.
Has anybody tried the IronAll dark which sounds very good also. I have sent for a sample pack of that too, will keep you posted!! The IronAll is supposed to be good to use with a domestic iron, so we'll see. I have lots of shirts to make but my trip is not until December so I have time to research to see which is the best paper to use!!

It will be here before you know it. :goodvibes
I can't believe that my girls have been out of school for 3 weeks already.

Accd to my research Ironall was the last great thing before the JPSS came out. The hand was supposed to be so much softer than anything else on the market, but I keep reading that it's difficult to use which scares me to death. I am really not going to do the shirt making thing enough to "learn" how to use a difficult product and waste valuable sheets. You wouldn't believe some of the testing these ppl do with them!!

I'm also going to get a sample pack of the transfers I am hearing the most good things about, but I did not read great things about IronAll dark (it is supposed to not be like the light that they all loved at all), but I read good things about a couple of other darks which I am trying to get samples of. It is funny because many here use dark exclusively for the vibrant colors while the pros don't use the darks hardly at all because they still don't think the quality is there.:confused3

I think the ppl making shirts and selling them as a business are going to be much harder on the finished product than any of us will be, but I do want something that is going to last and that is the criteria that is being used on the reviews I've seen so far.

Looking forward to finding out how it works for everyone!

Hi
Thanks for your advice. Have you tried the JPSS? Do they do it for dark fabrics do you know? I would appreciate your oppnion on this. As I said, I have ordered a sample pack of IronAll so I'll let you know what I think:confused3

First, let me preface everything by saying none of my samples are here yet, so I haven't tried any of these brands for myself.

I have instructions that I printed out from a person who used to use an iron with IronAll transfers but has since upgraded to a heat press. I am happy to PM them to you. She said they came out well. Another person who has done the same thing and upgraded also used IronAll with a home iron in the early days and she says they got the same quality as with a heat press, but only if her 225 lb husband did the ironing with a lot of pressure for several minutes. She said she never got the same quality as him though she was able to do the transferring--keeping in mind they were selling these shirts so best quality was vital to them in a way it may not be for me.

They say Ironall Dark washes out in a few washes. If you only care about having it for one day then you may want to go for it.

JPSS is now only for lights and is the transfer paper of choice for the pros I've asked. They say it is exclusively for use with a heat press and that it would not work for me as I will not get enough heat or pressure with an iron. That said I got an email back from the supplier I chose for JPSS this morning and he included instructions for use with a hand iron. Confused as I am yet??

Ironall itself says you can iron it on with a home iron. One other tip they are offering is to use the older heavier irons with no steam holes if you have access to one.

Hope that helps in some way! I have found both JPSS and IronAll (25 sheets) around $14.00 + shipping. If you are interested in the source for either, let me know as one requires a coupon code.

I got my package of next generation paper yesterday. I have not tried it yet, but it is called VeraLite. Anyone ever heard of that before?

Never heard of VeraLite, but I am eager to hear how it goes for you. My samples came in the mail yesterday, so if my shirts get here soon maybe I can get to testing.
