Anyone tried Raglan Road yet?

I was at DTD this afternoon and took a stroll over to Raglan Road to see what it looked like. That section was closed until the evening but I could see the building itself. Included Drapery & Gifts, Raglan Road Fine Dining, The Hole in the Wall, and Cooke's of Dublin Fish and Chips.

Just wondered if anyone had eaten there yet or tried the pub. :drinking1

Any reviews?

There are lots of threads on the dining board about it... yes, we did have a late dinner there and our feelings are mixed =) I shared my exp on several threads over there if you want to take a peek!

Had dinner there exactly a week ago. My dish was called "Pie in the Sky", which I thought was a glorified Chicken Pot Pie. Well, it was so delicious - big pieces of white-meat chicken with leeks, in a cream-based broth, then topped with a puff pastry top. I thought it was excellent, but that was pretty much it on the plate, except for a lonely piece of lettuce and small slice of tomato. Rather pricey, as it was not a big portion. My husband had Fish & Chips, which he said were good. I was stealing some of his fries because I was still a little hungry. Not even a dinner roll came with it. Needless to say a big Hot Fudge Sundae at Ghiradelli's had my name on it later. Waiter was extremely friendly, but for the four of us, and the amount of food we got, or didn't get for that matter, was rather expensive.

You should have tried the bread pudding with the vanilla and caramel sauce. It was wonderful. I was totally stuffed when we left.

I started a thread on this as well. Our dinner was so-so. I think it would have been a completely different experience if we'd gone late enough to enjoy the live entertainment. We also headed to Ghiradelli for a sundae after our meal (and it was the highlight of the evening!).
