Anyone tried Fit Flops?

I'm wearing my Disney Fit Flops right now! I love them - they are so comfy. I am so glad I decided to buy them when we were leaving AKL last year.

Mine are on right now. Walked all through Disney with them with no problems. I have a wide foot and measure 9 1/2 but i got the 10. I felt the 9's were too short.

I forgot to ask....which style is best? I think I like the Oasis.

Wow, I'm going to have to check these out. I have several pairs of crocs sandals which I love, but these sound good. Who can't use another pair of comfy shoes?

I wear 9.5, and for longterm wearing I prefer 9s, I have both 9s and 10s. The 9s are tight to begin with but they will stretch and be perfect after a few months.

As for rubbing between the toes, fitflops do need to be broken in a bit. I am on my third pair, and the first week I always break them in, and get my inner toes used to a new pair. I can now wear my new ones everywhere..I was trekking around campus yesterday no problem!

I love mine, I also have back problems (I had surgery and have screws and bars in my back) and I NEVER have back problems wearing these.

Every time this type of thread comes up, I feel like I have to extol the virtues of these miracle shoes.

I have a well-loved pair of Walkstars that are on their third year and two brand new pair of Oasis that I will be taking to WDW (I need to begin breaking these in.)

In the fall/winter I have taken to wearing the Fitflop Gogh. They are like mules and they are super comfortable.

For those wondering about Oasis: The black Walkstars are the originals and they have subtly striped white, black and pink straps. I prefer the look of the Oasis because the strap colors are solid and they are a little more fashionable (at least to me) than the Walkstars.

I just ordered a pair of Oasis from Shoebuy....can't wait to try them....thanks everyone!

Has anyone tried the Kmart ones that look just like fit flops?

Actually, I have 4 pairs of them and love them. I cannot wear flip flops due to flat, wide feet, but have NO problems with these at all. I wore them for short periods of time for a few days and then wore them in July walking around a park. Not once did my feet hurt - and I've had no problems with rubbing. And since the strap goes further back on the foot, it disguises my really wide feet.

I first saw the Disney ones while in the World las year and have regretted not buying them then. This year I definately plan on getting a pair!

Do they make something similar for men? My husband is on his feet many hours a day on concrete, looking for something for him. He won't do crocs because of the way they look :) He has some really supportive New Balance sneakers but with the warm weather coming, something lighter would be great.

On the recommendations from this site, I ordered a pair. LOVE THEM! I do advise that people really should go to the website and follow the instructions (closely, it prints weird otherwise) to print out the foot measurer. I am a pretty solid 8, no narrow or wide sizing, but I had to order the 7. It fits great! I did have a very tiny adjustment period with the strap over the top of my foot. While it was still pretty stiff (I got the suedo one after reading reports that the stretchy ones tend to stretch out), it did leave my upper foot a bit sore after wearing it too long the first day. But everything is great now. All that foot and achilles pain I've dealt with is gone with normal walking, and diminished by about 2/3 with heavy walking.

Thanks for the tip DIS!

I was at Ross today and they had the white Fit Flops Oasis for $24.99. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10. I bought a 10 and they fit great.

After reading this thread I ordered a pair (bronze) from Piperlime. I had a 20% off coupons so not too bad.

I've worn them for a couple short shopping trips and then today for my 3 mile walk with the dogs. I do have blister in between my toes now but that's no surprise. Otherwise they are very comfy and I have no ankle or calf pain as I usually do after my walks.

The problem I have is they squeak very loudly after I wear them for a bit. :scared1: Not sure if my feet start to sweat or what? Please tell me this will go away once they get broken in a bit???? :worship:

Is there any real difference between the styles other than looks? I see the Oasis, and the Walkstar I and the Walkstar III, and the Electra??

Just found out that they are at a store close by - am heading there tomorrow after work - Can't Wait:banana:

Sounds kind of strange to be so excited about flip flops...

I just got my 1st Fitflops in the mail and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! I ordered the Oasis style and they are PERFECT!! I am so happy that I get to wear 'flip flops' without destroying my feet anymore and without the pain I get from flat shoes!
