*Anyone Tried Everyday Privileges??

I just got an email from mypoints for a special for a company called Everyday Privileges. It sounds like Connections, which I actually didn't mind too much when I had it. I am wondering if anyone has tried Everyday Privileges, and if so, what kinds of things they offer.

I have found these programs to be useless unless you live in a major city and plan to do a *lot* of shopping for appliances, electronics, etc. But I do know I have signed up for similar programs in the past, got my free gift card, and cancelled, with no problems...

If you are looking for good deals on movie tickets get the Entertainment book for your area. They come with about 38 coupons for 2 for $12 movie tickets plus lots of great restaurants, shopping coupons etc.

The movie tix alone are worth it!

Yes, they are very much like Connections. However, you get the giftcards for $20 up front ($25 value) instead of waiting for the refund at the end of the month. I like that. Probably not worth staying a member, but if you need a couple giftcards for gifts like I did, it was great. Tried it, got the free giftcard, 200 mypoints, and 20% off my grad/summer wedding gifts. Cancelling wasn't a hassle, and I have never been billed like you always seemed to be when doing the Connections/Simple Escapes trials.

Well, I went ahead and signed up. I ordered several gift cards for places I regularly go, for $20 (the gift card is worth $25). I will let you all know if I have any problems.

I think I may do the trial and stock up on gift cards- maybe I will keep it for a few months if the savings is decent. Once I max out on gift cards I will cancel.
