My sister has discovered her AAA book and asked me about this hotel. I did a search on it and someone a year ago said it was clean but dated--1970s lobby, 1980s rooms. The rate I'm getting online is $99 plus tax. I can get the Radisson for $105 because I asked today and they said teachers qualify for the government rate, or the best western oceanfront for $109. Is this Oceanside Inn (which is very close to the BW) just as good for a $10 savings? We don't care if we have an ocean view or not (and at the BW we would not for sure). We will be there for most of the day, because our flight gets into Sanford at 10:30 and I imagine we will be in Cocoa Beach by 12:30, so I want to enjoy the hotel. I've been at the Radisson, but my dad is taking almost all of my recommendations and I think she wants her voice heard too. That is fine IF the hotel is as nice as the Radisson.

Clean, nice, and worth the money, but with a dated appearance. I'm okay with that. I'd stay there unless you're also factoring in the parking/shuttle. That would make the Radisson more attractive.
