Hi, the shop has recently opened in my local shopping centre, every time I go past it's really busy, and wondered what it was like.

I have a slight phobia of being in water with fish :scared1: I would Like to get over this :thumbsup2 but £10 for 15 minutes I wonder if is best way.

Could anyone tell me what it feels like etc :thumbsup2

My friend has tried it - says it is tickly!!!

She does say her feet have never been so soft !

This shop is ALWAYS packed whenever we go to the Trafford Centre, but I've never actually fancied it.

The thought of putting my feet in that water with those fish and other peoples 'skin' sorta freaks me out somewhat  Not wanting to put you off or anything though :rotfl2:

I can safely say that this has to be the strangest idea for a foot spa I've heard of :lmao:

I really fancy it (its a LOT more expensive in London though:scared1:) but there is that "who'se feet did they nibble before?" to get over - eeewwwwww! I understand hygiene can be a problem, as obviously they can't fill the water full of chlorine:rolleyes1

 I had to google this and I think there's only word to describe it - ew

Anyone watched the film Piranha? ;)

I tried this in Manchester at the Arndale on Friday. I have a lot of problems with dry skin on my left foot. I also absolutely hate having my feet touched so I was not sure how I would cope. I absolutely loved it. It tickled for the first minute, but then it just felt like a gentle massage. I felt so relaxed afterwards and my foot is a lot better.

DW and DD(11) did this in Norwich a few weeks ago and both loved it. The fish seemed to prefer DD's feet more than DW for some reason.:rolleyes1

There's a great beach in Menorca where the fish will do this for free for you!

I hope the poor little fish are looked after nicely at these places.

It make me sad so many animals are being used just to make people's fish pretty.
