How strict are they with their baggage allowances? i have to pack for 2 weeks for me and my ds with only a 20kg baggage allowance!! (ds doesn't get any allowance as he is travelling as an infant)

Never travelled with them but I'd hazard a guess that they might be quite strict being one of the more 'cheap and cheerful' airlines :sunny:

We're flying with Ryanair in a couple of weeks time and had to pay to take check in luggage :)
Is it possible for you to pay a little extra upfront if necessary?

That's how I have found them. If you go over expect to be charged surcharge :guilty:

I travel pretty regularly with Easyjet. I usually find if you are just a kilo or so over, they don't make a fuss but anything over that expect to pay for it.

I travel with easyJet regularly and one thing that may help you is the additional hand baggage which you can take into the cabin. You can fit a lot into a small rollercase and so long as you can lift it into the overhead bins yourself (and its dimensions are no bigger than 55x40x20) they do not weigh it.

Because you are travelling with a young child, you will be allowed to pre-board and therefore won't have any problem fitting your case into the overhead - it can be a squeeze if you are a late boarder ;)
