Anyone traveled to WDW and not gotten their DME Welcome Packet?

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone has traveled down to WDW recently and not gotten their Disney's Magical Express® Welcome Packet, you know the one with the luggage tags and other things, before they left?
I'm heading down Sept 27th and I still haven't received this package - I always have in the past.

I know a lot of the information can be done over the phone, but I like the luggage tags and such as souvenirs. I'm pretty sure the package actually has shipped out of Mississauga in the past, so worried the threat of the postal strike effect them sending it out. I checked all the addresses online and it's all correct.

I received mine the other week & I leave for WDW about a week before you. You may still get yours in the next few days. I do think the threat of a postal strike did make the mailings hit and miss for many Cdns. The newish plastic character luggage tags are given to non-US residents at check-in along with your magic bands. Not sure if that is what you meant re tags as souvenirs? The yellow DME luggage sticker tags are what you are missing in the mailed packet.

Ours didn't arrive till about 10 days before our trip. You still have time! Have a great trip!

I called when mine hadn't arrived about 4 weeks in advance. Turns out that they had the wrong address. The replaced tags got there the next week. I didn't have a package that received the luggage tags, though, just the DME.

My TA called about ours.

They thought they had already mailed them out.

Received them 4 days later. And yes, the return address is Mississauga.

There is no booklet anymore - it is simply a sheet with a barcode and your reservation info. as well a little need to know info. and of course your yellow tags.

I had this happen when I booked a trip and left 2 days later. I found my welcome Pak in my room a couple of days after I arrived.

Just back, and didn't receive the usual pre-trip package with luggage tags and DME, nor was it waiting at the resort during check-in. WestJet vacations had a better price than booking direct through Disney this trip, so I suspect that's where the hiccup occurred. To be safe, I contacted DME a few days before the trip to confirm that they had our flight information for the airport/resort bus run. No big deal, honestly.

Our information for August didn't come as Disney was worried about Postal strike. Only thing we got thru Travel agent was Magic Express
