Anyone thinking of ditching their BLT res for VGF for November?

We had a 2 br res at bwv nov 1-5 but will only need 1 br now. Given time frame and points borrowed for the trip we need to use all the points so thinking of either trying to get a 1 br at blt or 1 br at VGF instead if they become avail ( nothing at this time). I would actually prefer blt to VGF. I was thinking some might try to book VGF using the 4 mos window and free up some blt space! What do you think the chances are of that? If all else fails we might just bask in the glory of lots of space for our family of 4 with our 2 br res or try and rent/sell the other half.

I can't say that the thought didn't cross my mind to try for VGF for my Dec 6-9 at the four month mark, but we got 2 SV BLT studios and we love BLT for the walk to the MK. I will look, but not expecting anything. Not sure i would pull the trigger if open either. But thinking.

You won't be able to try for GFV for a Nov 1 arrival until July 1. I seriously doubt you will be able to get BLT without getting on a wait list now. The issue is that if a BLT owner switches to VGF for that time, the BLT room is likely going to go to someone already on the wait list.

So this brings up a new questions. I could wait list a 1 br for 4 nights at blt now, and on 4 month window see if I can get VGF for 3 nts then either pull trigger there or wait to see what happens w wait list? can I unwaitlist if I decide to do VGF? Also will member services be able to tell me what the wail it's looks like. Ie: wait list for lake view at Blt have more than another view?
