Anyone think more will be announced for DHS?

I will say I'm extremely happy with the announced expansion of DHS, it really needs this. But, I kind of feel that this might not be enough to revitalize the park.

Part of me thinks that some Pixar related attractions may still happen, since it seems that there's going to be plenty of show building space (that is if they don't tear them down)

Does anyone think they may announce more experiences for DHS other than TSL and SWL?

Yes I think so. We will likely see new shows and possibly some other experiences. Lots of other infrastructure works will happen as well. New parking arrangements and entrance roads are said to be in the works.

I'm thinking that the extent of any more announcements will just be details about the new lands and any changes needed to the rest of the park to accommodate the construction and traffic patterns.

Reading on other sites that the expansions that have been stated are not all that will be done. At least one area is still not accounted for, so we may see a phase 3 come later. That extra expansion could be anything from more pixar expansion to maybe something muppets or so if the new show does well. Again, just speculation.

This Toy Story Land appears to be on track to finish relatively quickly, and I think that it's certainly possible more could be announced. Even after opening all these attractions, there'll still be an attraction deficit. With only 9 rides in the entire park. For comparison, DCA in 2007 had 15 rides. Ironically DCA was constantly criticized for its state in 2007, but even then it had 3 times as many as the current DHS.

It may be a long way off but I would think they have other plans for the former Animation Building. Star Wars Land is most likely going in on the other side of the park so it doesn't make a lot of sense to have the Launch Bay over on that side when the land opens. I'm also hoping they fix the dead end near TOT and RnRC.

The key my friend, is in my saying "the current DHS." At the time of me writing this post, only 5 rides are open at DHS. Hence the 3 times comment.

Ah, you were saying there's 9 rides AFTER the new lands open.

I would still prefer 4 parks even with fewer attractions, but can see why others wouldn't. I think a lot at DCA were kinda spinner things maybe?

Anyway, the HP expansions added one ride each-yet they improved the experience dramatically.

I'm hoping they themed lands at DHS/AK result in a similar improvement in overall immersion/experience.

The DA and FJ areas at US/IOA is way better than adding 10 spinners for example.

Plus they can always add attractions going forward, DA might get Ministry of Magic, Star Wars could get additional attractions from the new movies.

That's accurate. There was an excessive amount of spinners, but between California Screamin, Soarin, Grizzly River Run, monsters inc., and TOT you had a strong lineup of E Ticket/indoor rides. Similar to DHS of today. Only with ten other flat rides too.

We are still likely to see other things change. Beauty and the beast show being changed, a new show in the fantasmic amphitheater, and possibly more. We have heard about the biggest changes but more is still likely.

There is a big area that hasn't been covered yet, so yeah, I do expect some extra stuff to be announced. There are quite a few properties that haven't been covered, like Indiana Jones, Muppets and Walt Disney Animation Studios. I'm not expecting any big announcements anytime soon, though.

I would expect an updated Indiana Jones experience with the movie series being rebooted.

I expect there to be an expansion of the "Classic" Animation area. As at the moment most of the classic characters don't really have a home in DHS, and as we've seen with Mickey's Toontown & Camp Mickey-Minnie before this kind of area can be developed fairly quickly, cheaply & be extremely popular.

My Predictions for the expanded Animation area:
1930s style cinema showing B/W early Disney cartoons (Mickey/Oswald/Silly Symphonies) with a Oswald M&G attached.
Mickey & Minnies houses rebuilt (they're in storage at the moment) leading to Mickey & Minnie M&Gs
Animators Palate style restaurant
Expanded One Mans Dream
Dark Ride themed around Bambi or Pinocchio

Disney except from beauty and the beast on stage don't have any animated film presence after this expansion so I assume that the show will either go or they will start bringing in some of the classics

Mickey & Minnies houses rebuilt (they're in storage at the moment) leading to Mickey & Minnie M&Gs

The houses at MK were demolished. While it's possible they may build new ones, I don't see them being done and placed in storage. They would just build them in the new location.
