Anyone there this August who's a regular August visitor?

Hey Guys

Did anyone whom usually visits the parks during the last 2 weeks of August find this August any busier than previous years?

I expected it to be a lot quieter than what it was and wondered whether it was actually fairly average?

We have gone to US/IoA during the last two weeks in August the last three years and felt that the park traffic were about the same last year. I thought it seemed a lot busier in 2010 (at least at WWoHP). It could be that we are better planners but I thought later in August was very manageable last year. We are going two weeks earlier this year. Might be a little busier for us.

We have gone the past 2 end of Augusts. Crowds about the same, but more thinner as you get closer to Labor Day. Week days easier.

The last week of august this year saw hurricane Isaac come through. It really screwed up the general touring plan as it was empty (like 10 people at rope drop) then more crowded a few days later when the sun came out.
