My App is showing a lot of closures in Fantasyland. I'm just curious what is going on.

Oh my. It's actually showing lots of closures in DCA too. Is this accurate?

Fireworks are at 8:45 PM tonight, a number of Fantasyland attractions close for the fireworks. Not sure about DCA closures but World of Color is at 9:30 PM.

When we have been there and fireworks goes off as scheduled, CM's rope off everything from the MadHatter's store to carousel and over to restaurant. Everything from this rope to the castle is CLOSED. Fantasyland re-opens after the fireworks.

We've watched the Fireworks from the rope line by the carousel. It was also the start of PeterPan's line when the area re-opened.

Is Fantasyland closed for fireworks?

Yes. And it takes awhile to get everything open again. A couple nights ago it was like an hour before they cleared stuff for opening again.

I feel it's as good as any other spot that doesn't have a view of the castle front.
We felt right in the fireworks display, it was so much fun.

The perk was also being in line for PP once the "All Clear" sign was given to the CM's.
A CM escorted the line over to PP's entrance and THEN the castle side was opened for people to come into Fantasyland.
In no time the line for PP was over 30minutes. But we were right up front in the line.

If you choose to see the fireworks from this spot, ask a CM where you need to be..... to be in line for PP.
