Anyone tent camp recently (or this time of year) at Ft Wilderness?

Help! I'm getting scared! We're scheduled to tent camp at the Fort this coming weekend, and I'm suddenly worried about how hot and humid we'll be at night. I must say that I'm at native Floridian and live in south Florida, so it should be cooler in WDW than it is here at home, but we don't make it a habit to sleep in our yard here, so I honestly don't know how miserable it will be for sleeping. And I guess it's just hitting me that after a hot day in the parks, we won't have a cool air conditioned hotel room to go to. (I think we'll have some nice leisurely meals in the air conditioning!)

We have air mattresses (which I've heard will help a little because there's air under us) and fans for the tent, but I'd love to hear from any tent campers who have been there recently (or this time but another year) to hear just how miserable we're going to be.

We just got back from camping and although we were in an RV, my sons were in tents and they didn't complain about the humidity and or problems that they had at all. It actually got real comfortable at night by the time they settled in. The worse problem that you might have is with the flies that bite! We all have plenty of sores on our legs to say that they were a constant problem, mostly in the late afternoon.

We were in a tent May 1-8. During the day it got really warm in the tent. But the evenings were very pleasant for sleeping.

Just Back 5/31 First Night we had 6 inchs of rain nTake money for the dryers and tack alot of Bug Spray 46 bug bites.

How was the heat and humidity at night, still h2o? Those are my main concerns.

(I mean, I don't look forward to rain, but it is Florida, and since I live here, I know that it's likely to rain.)
