Anyone taken Mears to brightline?

I know Mears shuttle will drop off at terminal C, I am wondering if the walk to the Brightline station is well marked and if it is a relatively level walking surface without a lot of trip hazards? We will be bringing my mom this trip, and she is in good health, but uneven ground is sometimes a struggle.

The terminal is well-marked for the Brightline station. My guess is that they will drop you off on Level 1. There are both elevators and escalators. Why not just take a taxi directly to the Brightline station drop off? It would be much easier.
