Anyone Taken A Taxi From Ron Jon To Port?

we are coming in a day early for the cruise and will have a limo pick us up from airport to hotel but need transportation from ron jon to port

any suggestions

much appreciated

They do not have a shuttle? I thought they had one. Well, we have taken a taxi from other resorts not far from Ron Jon's and it was not very much, like 7-10$. THis was well worth it..... Maybe you should call to see if they have a shuttle.

I believe I read that they have a "concierge"-type service for their guests. For just a few bucks per person, they have a shuttle service come to the resort for you. It's not their service, but a service that deals with many resorts.

Also, I've heard that there are plenty of taxi's, so that could be an option as well.

i really don't want to have to wait for a specific time to get a shuttle- i want to be at the port by 11am- (i am a little too excited)

I would call a taxi. We used M & H taxi. #321-784-4499

I would call them the day before to set up the time. AND call the next morning. They forgot us. They came about 10 min. after we called to see where they were. So we were only behind about 30 min.

It was $15 for the 3 of us (plus tip) from the Hamptons which is farther on down the road than Ron Jon's. It was the same for a shuttle that we could have arranged for, but they wouldn't have picked us up until after 12.

It's my understanding that Ron Jon provides free parking (if you drive) and shuttle service if you spend the night.....

The concierge arranged the shuttle for us and they were there at the time we requested. $5 per person.

Are you flying in the day before and staying at Ron Jon's?
What time is your flight in?

We recently changed our reservations to Radisson because Ron Jon's could not store our luggage there are 10 of us.

Our flight arrives around 11:30 so, we would be in limbo for too long without a room with all that luggage. Check in time 4:00
When we called the raddisson they said they would store out luggage until our room was ready we figure we could change and hangout by the pool or take a taxi to Rusty's

The radisson has the free shuttle to the port the next day.
I have stayed at the radisson 2 times before it is ok
I was dissappointed that Ron Jons would not store our luggage we really wanted to stay there the pool looks so cool!

hi goofytoo- we are flying in on fri & will arrive around 10:30 am- we are taking a limo from the airport to ron jons so we won't have a car to store our luggage in but when i talked to ron jon's yesterday they said that it shouldn't be a problem to store our luggage at the resort (only 3 of us) i hope they stick to this- they told us there is an early registration form you can fill out any time after 10 am & then you can have full use of the resort amenities ...otherwise we will be taking our luggage to the pool side!!!!

the pool looks fantastic, i figure this will be a fantastic start to our vacation- we are staying a day after the cruise ends but ron jons was booked so we are staying at another hotel right on the beach.....ron jons mentioned that they are booked due to a rocket launch on 5/15/05- hopefully we will be around to see it

We are thinking of taking a taki over to Rustys on friday afternoon.

We are flying out on the 14th so we will miss the launch we though we might
head over to Seaworld for the day we have a budget van for the day.

well, gooftoo- it has been snowing for 2 straight days - a couple of feet of snow now!!! my husband works for the city & plows in the winter so he is happy as heck to get all this overtime (me too)

my rate for a studio was $150- i don't have AAA but i am hoping to find a code between now and the time we go to bring down the rate

where is Rusty's at- is it a sea food restaurant?

i just keep thinking to myself; get through this freezing snowy weather and in 2 months i will be on a tropical beach!!

It is suppose to be like a magaritaville type of rest. Fresh seafood etc.

Yes it has been snowing like crazy here.
the sun is finally out today but look -on the horizon -more snow for Tuesday
