How did it go for you? My dd has several issues one being autism, but is high functioning. She can swim and loves the water. Also loves animals but I think she may be apprehensive about the dolphins. I know if I can get her in there she will love it but it's trying new things that are hard for her. We have been wanting to go and now that she is older(12) we ma try.

We haven't been yet, but we are taking our daughter with HFA and our son with SPD. My main concern with them is the water temps, since they both are extremely sensitive to cold water, so I know they'll be doing full wet suits even in June. One thing I had recommended to me - practice NOW getting them used to putting their face in the water and using a snorkel, in a non-threatening environment (bathtub, private pool etc.). Both of our children take private, special needs swimming lessons, so they are working on this with the kids.
