Anyone stop coming here after their trip?

I'm another one! I live on these boards while planning a trip and for a month or afterwards to post trip reports, answer questions, etc. But if I don't see an immediate trip in the future it makes me jealous of others that are going! I know, not very DIS like but it's true. I do check the boards once in a while to look for good discounts though! But DH made me promise if we went in Sept to not ask to go in 2006 so I'll be taking a leave of absence (at least until next fall to plan a 2007 trip :rotfl2: )

I come back and post trip reports and reviews of our trip and answer questions for about a week while I'm still in my "Disney Magic Haze". You know still grinning from ear to ear thinking and remembering every last detail. But then I avoid the site for about a month. It's just to painful and tempting. I seem to book a trip when I come back!

I am 34 years old and started begging for Disney when my best friend went when we were 9. I went on my first trip with my 7 year old son in June. My husband thought he could send me and I would "get over it". No such luck.
I thought I would not come back to the DIS much, but boy was I wrong. I'm like a moth to a light. I'm drawn to the DIS and all things WDW.
My husband says I need counciling.
For better or for worse, I can't stay away.

People like me need people like you to post trip reports, dining reviews, and just your general thoughts about your itinerary, what you liked best, what did not work out for you, any tips you may have for future visitors, etc...

Come back as soon as you can after your trip, while your experiences are still fresh in your mind. Think of it as doing a public service; helping those of us in need--need to know more!!

I can't wait to be the one to be giving information/advice after my trip, instead of always being the one asking questions.

I have to admit this is the first time I've been at DIS since Nov.It is part of a 12 step program :) It is just too painful at first when we get home. After our trip last Oct we knew we weren't going to be to WDW for a year or so.I had to go cold turky and not visit the site.Going to the site just magnified the void :earboy2: If I went to the DIS I knew I would try to justify directing funds toward another trip.So here I am back...I guess I can blame DH.This morning we were talking and our absence from WDW won't be as long as we planned.we cracked we are planning a Feb 06 trip :cool1:

At first after each trip, I stay away because I am a little sad.

But I have found a way to help with that sadness...I always schedule my next trip before I leave WDW (even if it is 2 years away), then that gives me a reason to come here and plan away. :)

I come back when I first get home just to see if I can help anyone with recent info. After that I stay away for 3 to 4 months because I have learned from past years as soon as I start reading here I start planning my next trip. 15-16 days a year is fine but I was over 30 in 2000 and 2001 which is too much. Its OK if a few bartenders know me by name but when nearly every one does the people I sometimes travel with just sort of shake their heads and laugh.

I just got back and I'm still reading away, answering questions and putting my 2 cents in. This is the BEST message board I've found. I absolutely love it hear and it makes me feel so much better that I'm not alone in my Disney addiction. I always feel sad when I get home from a vacation at the World. It's the happiest place on earth!!!! :earboy2:

I could never stop coming here, it keeps me me going between trips. I need my fix!

Im the opposite, I guess! I keep coming here to get my "fix" between trips also!! :goodvibes

Not me.I am back right after the trip as I am planning the next one as soon as we get home..... :sunny:
