I finally have my holidays confirmed at work and can book flights now. My dates are 11th August (day before sons 15th birthday) till 1st September. We would arrive back on 2nd and son has to start school on 3rd. Hope he wont be too tired but want as long a holiday as possible.
Best flights I can see £814 so have come down a bit.
Have to rule out the flying from Dublin as I just wouldn't take a chance on getting there on time on the morning of 11th. A shame really as for £800 you could go Business class. But to be honest by the time we got the other flights and stay in a hotel as would have to go the night before, then it starts getting towards £100 each. Last year paid £600 and then about £80 each to upgrade to Americans economy comfort or whatever they call it. Definitely worth it.
So fingers crossed something turns up. three families going and everyone relying on me to get them a deal, no pressure then
