We are staying on Oct. 29th and when I saw the first post I called and was told that they really couldn't give me an accurate time frame until next week because so many carpets needed to be replaced and Ivan was getting in the way of that. Even with no Ivan it could take 6 weeks at least. I called around and was able to get one of the last rooms available at the Radisson for that night, (paying 70.00 more than my original Radisson reservation for a smaller room than the room I cancelled last month!) but found nothing else available in Cocoa Beach. I would call them again next week but you really should be looking around for another available room. There are so many damaged hotels in the area and residents and insurance examiners are using many of the ones not damaged.
I do have to say that I was extremely impressed with the people I spoke with at Ron Jons and also the Hampton Hotel. Great customer service in such stressful situations is very rare.
