Anyone stayed in Clearwater?

We are stayin at the inlaws in CLearwater, and trying different stuff this trip. Has anyone been? Any advice on things to do(kids are 4 and 6) or restaurants?

Never been to clearwater, but have been to maderia beach, which is north of clearwater, i think. The beach is great, soft sand, warm gulf. We saw a school of stingrays right near us. Best bet would be to go to tripadvisor,com and check forums there.

Definately go on a dolphin cruise, totally worth it!!! We went to Clearwater 4 years ago, and my DS's then ages 5 and 8 loved it!!! Make time to look for shells on the beach in the morning too, we found lots of different kinds some with even live animals in them that we threw back!!! Very fun place to visit IMO!!!!
