Since the Fairfield by Marriott was sold out on the dates we wanted, we have been looking elsewhere. We found the Sheraton Four Points (corner of Katella & Harbor)for $79/night. It's walking distance from Disneyland. Has anyone stayed there before, and can you tell us anything about the hotel? Thanks in advance!

The Four Points that I know of us off Harbor & Ball not Katella. Its surrounded by freeways, we considered it, reviews talked about the location and noise it's not really walk able. We didn't bother. Down at Harbor & Katella you have a Residence Inn, SprinHill Suites a couple Marriott's and the Sheraton.

The Four Points is on the corner of Harbor/Ball. We stayed there once years ago right after they remodeled when it rebranded. It was fine for the price but the walls are paper thin so you will hear a lot of outside noise. It's walkable but on the longer side and the freeway on-ramp crossings are a bit of a death trap.

I used a free night certificate there last year and decided that I wouldn't stay there again. Too much traffic noise and the walk is a little sketchy late at night.

You’re responding to thread that was started nearly 24 years ago. Bill Clinton was in his final weeks of presidency, DCA was preparing for its grand opening and 9-11 would happen nine months later. And I’m guessing many members participating in this forum had yet to be born…

The current Four Points has had multiple flags through the years. I’m pretty sure it was a Holiday Inn around the time of the Millenium (the Holiday Inn flag came off around the time a newly constructed Holiday Inn opened off Manchester/5, during the mid-2000s… even that properly had since been reflagged).

There likely was a Four Points at Harbor/ Katella. I have a very good memory but am drawing a blank at the moment — nearly every hotel on that surrounding corner has been rebuilt and reflagged in the past 24 years

Hey, at least somebody finally responded ;)

Wild thing was it showed up in the listing, I didn't go digging for it. Thanks for pointing it out.

I don't recall 4 Points being down there, we had APs in 2002 and did a lot of Priceline hotel stays at the convention hotels, Sheraton, Marriott though and Hilton as I recall. But like this thread that was a long time ago.
