We stayed there using my in-laws timeshare a few years ago. It was decent, and while walkable it was a LONG walk. There is an ART stop right out front though, which i would recommend using over moving your car to a DL parking lot.
We took advantage of staying that far away and tried to have dinner at restaurants in the Garden Walk most evenings.
I did love the pretty large mini fridge, and the whole kitchenette area which was stocked with plates, silverware, glasses, etc. It also had sponges and paper towels for cleanup. The "suite" is more like a split hotel room. Ours had the sofa bed in the living room where the kitchenette was, with 2 Queens in the "rear" part of the room....they were separated by a sliding door with transluscent glass, so light did go through from one room to the other.
All that said, I would not choose to stay there again UNLESS using my in-laws timeshare for free was the ONLY way we could make/afford the trip. It was just so far away...our last 2 trips it was so nice to return to staying at hotels on Harbor and making the quick walk across the street to DL.
If you do not have a car, I don't really think there is a walkable full-store for groceries...however if you have a stroller, you could go to one of the mini-marts in one of the hotels on Harbor and load up on water and snacks there on your walk back to the hotel one day (A1 market is decent, at the Grand Legacy). There is also a CVS underneath the Staybridge Suites. But if you need/want full grocery trip and you're without a car, I'd take a taxi to load up.
And a forewarning, they will pressure you at check in (and leave several messages) trying to get you to attend their "free breakfast" with timeshare presentation. we didn't want to waste valuable sleep or park time so we politely declined the offer, but they were persistent!!
