anyone stayed at the orlando vista hotel

we booked this for our first night through hotwire. I have read the reviews at tripadvisor most are good some are bad. Just wondering if anyone else has stayed here and their opinion. I am a bit skeptical on some of the reviews. It is located just around the corner to downtown disney so i know the location is good. Worried about the rooms.

We used to stay there all the time before it became the Orlando Vista. I think it was in the Hilton family at that time. But then we started staying onsite and have stayed onsite ever since. It was always a nice hotel when we stayed there. Clean and convenient. Beds were very comfy. Hope this helps.

A friend of mine just got back from there - 4/4/09-4/8/09. She didn't like it at all. Said it smelled musty, etc. She said she would never stay there again. Received free nights thru a timeshare she did in VA Beach.
