We have booked into the Parkside for part of our stay as we got it for $44 a night for a suite that sleeps 6. I know it won't be luxurious but I am hoping for clean. Has anyone been here and do you have any comments, thanks,

Christine

I stayed there a few years back and it is great. We ended up being upgraded to a two room suite for 3 of us!! Very clean, great staff, pool looked good (but didn't try it out). right across from D-land, maybe a 5 min walk (because of having(safety) to use crosswalk). I left a pillow I own in the room that is sentimental and they priority mailed it to me the next day!!!

Just thinking of staying there again this May when we go back. Cheap rates and great location, what more could you ask.

Have Fun!!!

Stayed there a couple years ago while on a business trip. We were upgraded to a suite and could have brought along a baseball team and still had room. Very clean and spacious. Excellent for the price (actually nicer than the hotel we stayed at while on business closer to LA.

Be aware that there are many places around Disneyland with the work "Park" in the title. There are the following places to stay.
The Park Inn (formerly known as the Park Inn International)
The Best Western Park Place Inn
The Park View Inn
The Holiday In Anaheim at the Park
The Travelodge at the Park
A place that used to be called Inn at the Park (Now the Coast Hotel I believe)
And the Parkside Inn and Suites.
I have not stayed at the Parkside but I know where it is. It is usually rated one star or less and is not an any review lists.
There was a gentleman on a Disneyland message board who stayed there and had gotten it for very cheap. He said it was worth the $29 if you didn't mind a broken handle and torns carpet. He said it was clean. It is an old place and is in a decent location about a 10 minute walk to the parks. Here is a photo.

Here is a link to map with many of the motels on them. You will find the Parkside Suites down toward the bottom near the Marriott. http://www.geocities.com/ashpsyche/DisneylandLinkMap.html

If you go to www.tripadvisor.com there is one review and it isn't favorable.

I too was tempted by a very low rate but the more I think about it there's probably a reason it's so low.

:earsboy: I stay at the park side every time I go to Disneyland. I have always found the staff very friendly. The rooms are always clean. My only advise if you don't do it already pack shampoo .
