We have reserved a room there for a week in April and I'm curious if anyone has any comments (good, bad or ugly) about the place?

Yes, we stayed there in 2001, when it first opened. Very nice, comfortable, quiet area, hot and cold free breakfast buffet.

Take Palm Parkway east off SR 535, and continue for aboutr a mile. It's in a somewhat isolated area, so no close dining.

We stayed there a year ago. The room smelled like pet urine but other than that it was nice. (We had the large room and there was plenty of room for our family of 7 plus an infant) The breakfast buffet was not like an Embassy Suites breakfast or anything but we could find enough to keep us full until lunch. I would stay there again if I smelled the room first and got an incredible rate. We paid around $200 per night and I really wouldn't want to pay that again. Maybe I would do it for $135. Otherwise I would just stay in connecting value rooms on WDW property.

I chose this hotel because of mostly positive reviews on Trip Advisor - and I was able to get a rate of 92 a night on the hotels website with gov't/military discount. Anyway, thank you for your replies.
